How to Improve Your Appearance in One Month - Skin Care Tips

I've learned, with a lot of research and some help from a beauty expert, how to improve my skin dramatically. This article will discuss lifestyle changes and a skin care regiment to make your skin firmer and younger looking. I will also share the secret of how to give your skin a beautiful glow. As far as lifestyle changes, if you smoke, quit now! This is one of the best things you can do for your skin.

Smoking causes premature wrinkles, and makes wrinkles deeper than they would be ordinarily. Using nicotine also causes your face to have a grayish cast. Quit smoking, and you will see results within a month. Your skin will look healthier, and more alive.

Another important lifestyle change is exercise. You should be exercising at least 20 minutes per day 5 times per week. I choose to alternate between cardio and weight training. Sweating causes your pores to clean themselves out, and the exercise will help you get back that healthy glow.

One of the most important lifestyle changes you can make is to stay out of the sun unless absolutely necessary. UVA rays come from the sun as well as other sources, and UVA rays cause aging. If you must go out in the sun, wear protective clothing, and ALWAYS use sunscreen. The importance of sunscreen cannot be stressed enough. Failing to wear sunscreen faithfully, even when you're not outside (because fluorescent lights contain UVA rays, too) will cause premature aging and hyperpigmentation (dark spots or brown spots on the skin).

Along with the lifestyle changes, you must implement a skin care regiment that you follow faithfully. Habit is the key to keeping your skin looking young. Start with a gentle cleanser twice per day, to remove make up and other debris. It is not necessary to use harsh or abrasive items. Next, apply a gentle toner twice per day. This will clean your pores without causing dryness, which can damage your skin and make you look older.

Apply an eye serum twice per day, and pat it gently around the eye area. Never pull or tug on the skin near the eye, as it is especially vulnerable to sagging, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Apply a moisturizer as well. Because I am prone to acne, I like SEANERALS Moisturizer for normal to oily skin, as it is not too heavy. The moisturizer should be applied twice a day. After the moisturizer dries in the morning, apply a layer of sunscreen that protects from both UVA and UVB rays, SEANERALS Moisturizer contains UVA and UVB filters. Remember, we want to protect from aging as well as burning. At night, you don't need to apply sunscreen, as you will be going directly to bed, I apply SEANERALS Nourishing Night Cream.

If you follow these tips, your skin will begin to improve rapidly, and you should notice a great difference within a month. If you have specific skin problems, contact a dermatologist for problem-specific products to add to your regimen. Lastly, be consistent. Performing your skin care regimen every day will lead to beautiful, healthy skin.

Dead Sea Skin Care & Beauty Products popularity

Dead Sea products are natural skincare products, becoming increasingly popular with many women. Dead Sea salt, for example, is noted for its curative properties for people who suffer from skin ailments such as psoriasis or eczema and at one time was only available with a doctor’s prescription. Nowadays you can get Dead Sea products from most natural health outlets and pharmacies. Just a couple of table spoons of Dead Sea salt in your bath water has a soothing effect on the skin that eases the itching and soreness associated with both of these conditions.

Dead Sea salt also has very high levels of sulfur in it – although people associate sulfur with unpleasant images and smells it contains purifying, skin enhancing properties that are not widely known. These natural mineral cosmetics contain all of the healing, beautifying properties in sulphur but they do not have that unpleasant smell.

There are now a good number of products in this natural mineral cosmetics range and most of them are directly aimed at natural skin care. An increasing number of women are turning to natural and organic skincare products and as these are far less likely to provoke an allergic reaction. Mud from the Dead Sea for example, is made up in bulk to produce bars of soap as well as facial masks and body wraps. Natural Mineral Cosmetics made from Dead Sea mud are extremely beneficial to the skin as they provide the oils that our skin needs but which modern lifestyles tends to erode.

Dead Sea Mud Treatment in Your Own Home

Dead Sea Mud Treatment in Your Own Home

On a visit to Israel I bought some Dead Sea Mud as gifts for a few friends in the States. Little did I realize that when you go through airport security and they x-ray your suitcases, that the Dead Sea Mud does not x-ray well. I had to go through a few airports before reaching my final destination and every time I went through security, the mud wouldn’t x-ray and the security personnel had to open my suitcase and check out what that strange blob of something was that the x-ray machine couldn’t x-ray through.

I’m sure they always thought it was some kind of explosive material. I vowed never to travel with mud again! What I was told by the security personnel, though, is that I should just take it with me in my carry-on and then it can easily be checked. I was glad to hear that because Dead Sea Mud is such a great gift and everyone loves it!

Dead Sea mud is such a wonderful product. In the comfort of your own home you can experience a mini-spa treatment; and in the privacy of your own home you can plaster Dead Sea Mud all over your body and let your skin drink in the special therapeutic properties of the mud. A Dead Sea Mud facial is a special treat as well. The rich minerals offer a great treatment for your complexion, too.

Until you can take a trip to the Dead Sea, you can in the meantime enjoy the benefits of Dead Sea Mud and create your own personal spa at home!

A great complexion! Skin Care advice from Susan

My name is Susan, I am 46 years old, and people are always telling me that I do not look 46, that I look younger, and that I have a beautiful complexion. The only thing I can say is that I wash my face once a day using Dead Sea Mineral facial cleansing milk .

I never buy any thing that is very expensive, because honestly I just cannot afford it. The most important thing for any skin care routine is to moisturize. I use SEANERALS Dead Sea moisturizer, it comes in a large 8 oz container. It has a nice light fragrance and a non oily base.

I know that ideally to clean your pores well most ladies use a mask once a month or so, I just never have. For me the simpler the process the better and I get good results.

I probably should drink more water than I do, drinking water is an essential part of great looking skin as well as not smoking or using drugs.

I get at least 8 to 9 hours sleep every night (cant function very well unless I do, and can be a little grouchy). Oh one more thing that I think is important to great looking skin, do not pop those pimples, or if you do, clean asap with cleanser and toner. I want to continue to grow old gracefully and keep as much of my youthful looks as possible.

Skin Care Tips From an Unblemished Face - Acne Treatment

I have always had decent skin, that is to say, I do not often have breakouts or blemishes on my face. I get the occasional pimple or redness but most of the time I have clear skin. I think it has to do with genetics but I also attribute it to a good skin care regime and a healthy diet.

Over the years I have mixed up my skin care regime. When I was a teenager I used any drugstore foaming face soap like Neutrogena. Then I would use a matching toner and for moisturizer I used Oil of Olay because it just seemed like a classic and I figured I couldn’t go wrong. That seemed to work.

For blemishes I’d use a spot treatment also found in the drugstore. When I got to college I wanted to be a bit more sophisticated so I used the Clinique 3 Step system. That worked too and to this day I still use the yellow moisturizing lotion. I adore it. But into my late twenties I started to get pesky pimples around certain times of the month which would linger for weeks. I got fed up with the pimples that seemed to hang around forever and decided to try the Dead Sea Acne Treatment . To my surprise, several years later, it is still working for me.

I do still get the occasional pimple but it goes away in a few days. I religiously use the treatment in the morning and at night. The Acne Drying Lotion I use overnight as a spot treatment. Again, they disappear in a few days unlike before where they would hang around. Throughout the history of my skin regime, I never went to sleep with make-up on, and still don’t to this day. I’ve heard it is terrible for skin. Any sunscreen I put on my face I make sure it is hypo allergenic for sensitive skin.

I don’t suntan, that is to say, I don’t bake in the sun and if I am exposed for long periods, I reapply the sunscreen especially on my face. Along with these practices, I also follow a vegetarian diet. I don’t eat meat of any kind and I also don’t eat that much sugar. It may be a myth that sweets cause break-outs but I might be living proof that a clean diet results in a clean face. In addition to these ideas about face care.

I also would like to add that I sometimes get patchy skin on my arms and feet which I attribute to genetics simply because both of my parents have the same complaint. I combat this issue with a topical hydrocortisone crème on the area as well as do a full body application of body lotion once daily after bathing. It seems to help but in the summer it seems my feet get the worst of it. I have found that leather shoes exacerbate the problem. If I wear rubber or canvas flip flops it helps.

Skin Care tips and advice from almost 30 years old woman

29 Years 364 Days and Holding Tight I sit here writing this article as the minute hand is getting closer and closer to the big twelve. I have exactly thirty-two minutes left in my "Twenties" and I am spending it with you.

I stood in front of the mirror for a long time today...maybe a little too long and took a good honest look at myself. I am trying to be positive and look at the parts of me that are holding up to the test of time and the other areas that make me want to make an emergency visit to my closest plastic surgeon. Well I guess I can say that I am pretty happy with my skin.

My mom taught me when I was really young to go to sleep with Vaseline on my hands and feet covered with socks. I loved waking up in the morning and taking off the socks to see how soft my skin had become. I probably don't do it as often as I should but in between I religiously use lotion on dry skin. My mom also taught me about moisturizer and I started using it on a daily basis when I was 16. If I could go back I would have used eye cream too which is something I just started using in the past couple of years. I have always had really thin skin under my eyes so no matter how much sleep I have had I still have dark under-eyes. Because of this I have worn concealer for probably 15 years and I worry about the long term effects from all of that tugging to the delicate eye area.

I am proud to say that I do wear sunscreen every day even though most days I am inside for 95% of the day. I stay out of the sun and haven't been in a tanning bed for about 5 years.

I regularly visit a dermatologist as well as my other doctors for regular physicals and well-woman exams. There are so many things that we can't prevent but we can treat if we catch it early enough. I wish that I could also tell you about my healthy eating habits but unfortunately that is one thing that I have never really done well with.

I am lucky in the way that I am still rather slender but I think that gives me a false sense of being healthy. I do however try to work out regularly but would like to do more weight training and maybe even train for a marathon!

Speaking of running I really need to run to see my hair stylist. I wish I could get my hair trimmed every six weeks but it usually ends up being every few months. I enjoy getting deep conditioning treatments and cellophane wraps but when my budget doesn't allow it I use another trick my mom taught me when I was young. I have curly hair and anyone with curly hair knows that it can be dry and very unruly. I have spent many a morning begging my hair to lay a certain way when that one curl wants to stick straight up in the air. When too many of these days happen I pull out my economy size jar of mayonnaise. And no I am not joking, I turn my head into a giant mayo salad. It seems strange but it is a great conditioner and leaves your hair very shiny.

If you think about it mayonnaise is made from vinegar and eggs; The eggs condition the hair while the vinegar removes the residue that makes our hair look dull. It is a fabulous treat for a very small amount of money.

Another treatment that I have found over the years is called "Cholesterol". You can find it in the ethnic hair care area but I put it on my hair after I have rinsed out my shampoo and I leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it out. You can get an even better conditioning if you cover the Cholesterol with a warm towel. And of course last but not least every girl must get her beauty sleep!

Dead Sea Salt changed my life

This is a review of one of our customers:
I suffer from a lot of aches and pains due to arthritis. I was told by a friend of mine that dead sea salts are the BEST salts in the world to soak your tired body in via a hot bath.

I decided to give them a try and purchased Dead Sea Salt at DeadSeaMineral.com. I fell in love with the salts and have been using them ever since. I followed the directions on the website and left the bath feeling refreshed and a lot less sore than when I had submerged myself into the water. Unlike other baths I had taken in the past, this bath kept me from being sore into the next day!

I would recommend Dead Sea Salt to anyone who suffers from arthritis or even just general day to day aches and pains. I have also used Dead Sea Salt in baths when I am sick with a cold or the flu or have pulled a muscle working in the garden or doing something around the house or at work. The baths in Pure Dead Sea Salt kick the pain every time.

Dead Sea Salt is also a wonderful foot soak! I use it in my heated foot massage/soaking tub after a long day shopping or hiking and it always makes my feet feel like new.

There are just so many ways you can use Dead Sea Salt, that I could not possibly list all the ways here. I hope this review makes others try this great product though, as it has really changed my life on an almost daily basis! Great product! Highly recommend to everyone!
